Mission

> Organize, operate and maintain a duly integrated and school accredited organization of Geodetic Engineering
> Formulate, develop and implement continuing and competency-based education and training programs
> Enforce the Code of Ethics duly adopted by the organization
> Formulate and adopt standards of practice of geodetic engineering
> Forge and maintain partnership with school government, school non-governmental organizations and other civil society groups in carrying out national development programs and projects
> Prepare and disseminate learning and other information materials relevant to the practice of the profession and updates on government policies
> Acquire assets needed in pursuit of the objectives of the Association

Vision

> the advancement of knowledge in the practice of Geodetic Engineering
> the safeguarding of the professional interest of its members
>the fostering and maintenance of high ideals among its members ( moral and professional integrity, conduct, learning and professional competence )
> fellowship and camaraderie among its members
> the fostering and cultivation of relationships with national and international
> professional, technical, academic and scientific groups close cooperation with government, non-governmental organizations and other
> civil society groups in carrying out national development programs and projects.

GE Goals

> to achieve center of development ( CoD ) in Geodetic Engineering

GE Objectives

> To provide graduates with a solid foundation in the principles and practices of Geodetic Engineering, including mathematics, physical sciences, and engineering sciences that are neccessary to succeed in more advanced Geodetic Engineering courseworks where students will apply such principles and practices to variety of complex problems, and which will further develop their analytical and creative problem-solving skills and enables them to work successfully to serve the needs of the regional and national agencies of the government and the private sectors.

> To provide graduates with sufficient scope in Geodetic Engineering and related technical disciplines to understand engineering trade-offs that cross disciplines to enable them to participate effectively in multidisciplinary and multi-cultural teams.

> To provide students with balanced education in specialized areas of Geodetic Engineering as well as humanities and social sciences to develop their awareness on socio-econonmic, legal, political and environmental issues; to develop affective oral and written communication skills; and to develop an understanding of professional and ethical issues in formulating technical solutions in Geodetic Engineering problems.

> To provide graduates with advanced training in focused ares of their choice that is neccessary to solve complex real-world engineering problems and prepare them to contribute to a specific discipline within Geodetic Engineering and possibly pursue advanced study or research.
